And the 4K footage looks very identical with the bigger brother A7RII and A7SII (US$3198). The camera has got 6K oversampling full pixel read out, meaning the camera will not crop further more due to the high MegaPixels. Sony mentioned the oversampling renders greater detail. During the shoot, I found that the battery life has improved a bit comparing with the A7SII. Maybe because the camera has smaller sensor and no IBIS. 4K footage looks very sharp. It feels like you are using a professional 4K Cinema Camera. Also I like the ISO800 on S-Log 3. You get greater detail without very noisy footage. ”
